What once was a cow shed and dog kennels, is newly converted into a small recording studio based in Wackerfield (Co.Durham), where Crash Jones rehearses, records, mixes and writes songs of his own. The name originates from his devotion to making apple cider and beer from scratch.

Ciderhouse Studio welcomes all sorts of music and collaboration, currently recording with a fantastic upcoming teen band called 'The Waynes'. All sessions are organised and run by Crash himself. The studio hosts a wide range of industry software for sound mixing and a variety of audio recording tech. Other aspects of the studio's set up include blacked out walls and additional adjustable lighting.

Lately Crash has been experimenting with session video recordings, using 3 GoPro's and a Black Magic camera set up.
